Thoughts about the quote
“…We’d be rabbits wherever we were — we’re all in here because we can’t adjust to our rabbithood. We need a good strong wolf like the nurse to teach us our place”
Well, the point is that some people (especially mentally ill people) can’t control themselves. It’s hard for them to govern themselves and even more so a group of such people. Then it’s really easier to have a “wolf” who will manage everything, who will help in any case.
Such a “wolf” may teach “rabbits” the way to speak, to communicate, to live. And without such help “rabbits” will be just “destroy” the system, they can be lost in the world and it will be a disaster. That’s why control need to be here.
Even with some ordinary people. There’s such a group of people who just can’t live without managing them. It’s better for them to only “do”, and the “boss” will give directions. Well, it’s a choice of everyone whom to be — a rabbit or a wolf.
